Vice President

Anna Ahmed

Working as vice president of the marketing committee has helped me improve my communication and multi tasking skills. This position has allowed me to participate indirectly in all the affairs of the UCC and has given me an insight into the world of consulting.

As a returning student looking to get in- volved and give back, I decided to apply for a position in one of the well known student organizations. Undergraduate Consulting Club was one of my choices (turned out to be the only club I became fully involved). Consulting has been a great interest for me for a few reasons: practicing logical thinking, getting taste of different industries and networking with people from diverse backgrounds. Entering Affairs Committee, I have had a chance to experience a bit of all, and I have been enjoying the work. Being in- volved in organizing, executing, and help- ing out in events such as case study pan- el, consulting firm information sessions, consultants seminars, and job fairs has made my time at UCC very useful and meaningful, not to mention, challenging.

It's always hard to know what you want to do, especially only as a freshmen or sophomore in college. I became involved in the Consulting Club as a freshman, hoping to learn more about the industry and see whether my interests aligned. This year, as Director of Marketing, I feel like I have really learned a lot about the industry through organizing and arranging our events along with participating and attending them as well. My experience in the UCC has provided me with great opportunities to network, grow, and improve.
